Will do without the color and wheels, everthing else is gold Jerry![]()
We loved our Project 135i and were happy with how it turned out, but that doesn't mean we're not man enough to admit when we've been outdone. That we've been beat by BMW itself, an international corporation with virtually unlimited engineering and financial resources, makes it even easier to swallow our pride. Which is a good thing, because the BMW Performance Parts-equipped 135i we recently drove was one seriously well-put together package...FULL STORY AND GALLERY

Why isn't it called round-teen?
Car looks good though
What's up with the pics?Anyway, I'd rather take a stock 135iS to be honest. I'm not into the sportiness of this.

They gotta find a solution for the high pressure fuel pump on the N54. It is ruining their reputation. All they did so far was to extend warranty to 100000 miles/10 years. Many owners had to change it twice and more. Unacceptable.I don't like the style of the 1-series, it doesn't have the sex appeal of the 3-Coupe but it is at the same time subtle and purposeful.

I suppose since you guys liked BMW's short shift kit so much I'll probably go with that one (seeing as how doing so would avoid potential warranty issues) - did you have a different kind of SSK on the project car?

Great read - I wholeheartedly agree on the cat-back exhaust and the SSK...two must have warrantied accessories!![]()
