The factory certainly didn't offer that fiberglass kit.

And something tells me the car is far from complete under that fiberglass.
      Completely trashed.

1987 325is for sale - I'm putting my most recent project up for sale so I can spend my time working on the next project. This is a 1987 325is that I bought with a blown motor. I built a '327i' motor with the bottom end from a 1988 super eta and the head from a 325i. Every gasket and seal on the engine and trans was replaced. The head went to the machine shop before installation. The engine and trans were both cleaned and painted. New starter, alternator, ps pump, belts hoses, rotor, cap. All AC system components were replaced with brand new. I converted it from auto to manual so all the clutch components are new, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, slave and master cylinder, etc. I recently recovered the front seats with the houndstooth and black covers. The rest of the interior was removed, cleaned and dyed black. New H&R springs and bilstein shocks in front and new Koni shocks in the rear. I put new bushings and end links on a used set of racing dynamics sway bars and installed those. The tires only have a couple thousand miles on them. Rear brakes are new and fronts are a good used set. I painted the diving board bumpers black and they are holding up ok but have some spidering going on in the paint, same with the wheels. The body is original paint and the only rust I found anywhere on the car was a little under the battery. It does have a few small dings/dents. It has an analog clock in place of the obc and I just installed a new bluetooth radio. I also installed a 173 ecu. Lots of other things have been fixed. This is a great daily driver. The mileage on the odo is not correct. I had to swap different gauges in there to get them to work. The body had about 200k miles on it. The price is $6,800. If you're looking for the normal worn out stuff you see on CL for $1,000 to $2,000, this car isn't for you.

It seems to be a pretty good deal too, considering a clean M Roadster will run you $12-$17k depending on options, colors, mileage, etc. and it would still be less fun that this.

Too bad it isn't closer, this would be a blast!

I don't know that like it $6,000, but I like it. Low miles, good condition. Could this ever be a classic?

      Anyone want a LS1 swapped RX7?

      https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/5908006851.html

1994 rx7 fd. the car has a 5.3 ls motor and t56. the chassis has 108,xxx miles, but the engine and trans were just swapped in. the build is almost complete. the car was running great and i changed the clutch and is making a noise, I'm not sure but it could be a throwout bearing, or something to do with the flywheel? the exhaust needs to be finished and the ac is not installed yet, but i do have the ls1 compressor for ac.

      cons:
its making a knocking noise ever since i replaced the clutch
the door harnesses were cut so you will have to rewire for the windows to work
stock corvette tune, will need to be tuned with the new injectors

amazing car you won't see another one on the road like this. i wish i could keep it, but i dumped to much into it and need to get my money back out of it. 20 is my bottom dollar and I'm already losing money on it so won't take any less.

      no trades please
