Divorce Settlement $64M - But I am posting because of this pic :)

      http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-b...herts-39520817

The former wife of a Laura Ashley boss should receive a £64m divorce settlement, a judge has ruled.

Pauline Chai, 70, of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, wanted half their assets, which she claimed were worth at least £205m.

Her ex-husband Khoo Kay Peng argued she should receive about £9m, following the end of their 42-year marriage.

Mr Justice Bodey said Ms Chai's settlement should be made up of cash and property.

Being married to a guy who looks like this for 42 years. I'd say she should have gotten it all.

It's probably safe to say that he hasn't looked like that for the whole 42 years.

Good point. I look like that when I lose my place in line at the grocery store. Can't imagine what would happen to my face if I lost $64M

Divorce after 42 years though, pretty sad on the two of them. The money doesn't mean really much of anything especially at their age as they're one foot out of a nursing home. The most valuable asset is their 42 year relationship, goodness they couldn't fix it...I mean 42yrs yall.

once you get past **** you money and can do whatever you want the money is meaningless. i remember a trump quote from many many years ago where he more or less said that money became just a scorecard to measure himself against other ultra wealthy people. it isn't for the money at that point, it's a weird machismo thing.

GBP 205M is not **** you money though in today's world. We're talking $257M.

It's **** you money to me, but it's not exactly up there with the billionaires of this world.

Yup, remember Donald Sterling's ex girlfriend V. Stiviano? she's in-bound to China now.

This is the most wise comment I've read on here in a long while. Kudos.

The Mrs. looks fine and more than happy with the result. After 42 years if its over nothing wrong with moving on with some pocket money.
