Years ago I pondered Shannons offer to buy his E24. I was tempted. But it was Bronzit, and that was the final straw in me not buying it. So I bought a Sahara E9 instead.

to be fair, bronze does change it hue and brightness according to several variables. When bronze statues are cast the mold is treated to shift brightness and color in different places to make use of that capability.

Cool starry, my '88 Regal was bronze.

I think bronze was more of a thing in the 80's, although...my parents '78 LeSabre was bronze, too. I forgot about that one...

Back in the day my dad had a ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (gold package) in Char Gold Satin. It was a really sharp color, though the gold-on-gold was a bit too 1990s.

This just seems like just the right color for a Volvo. Metallic beige

This is "bronze". AMC Baja Bronze, to be precise.

Our family had a 1972 Hornet that colour. I remember it being more sparkly and vivid than that photo suggests.

VW is doing their best to keep this color alive. I wish my GSW was this color...

Thread title got me interested, and there are a few nice examples in here. Sadly it seems that bronze is actually beige or brown most of the time.

Bronze was re-popularized around 2010, but the trend has already passed:
