Wow I always forget these things exist. You never hear much about them. Why does he own two though? Wouldn't you rather spend the money on something else too, so you have some variety? I feel like these are really special cars that don't get driven a lot

Someone who can afford one of these cars has more money than they know what to do with. Given the rarity and the potential for appreciation, why not own two. I am sure he can still buy whatever he wants. Japanese business man is the owner.

Ken Lingenfelter shows his collection for charity every year, so I got to see one of these last year. I was surpised how small they are, they look so big in pictures.

It's so ugly and yet I don't hate it. Odd. I rather like the absurdity of the whole thing.

Was the passenger side headlight lens removed to be PPF-ed or is it just the lighting that makes it seem to be nonexistent?

I think you have it backwards - he lives in OC but drove to Montana to license the thing, rather than pay the staggering California fees & taxes.

There are probably more supercars registered to Montana than actual residents.

That's the joke. Rich people in California are notorious tax evaders. They have more money than anyone, yet find more ways to skip out on taxes than anyone too.

I've seen the car before (in pictures), but I have no idea what exactly it is or why it is special.

      The jewelry guy?

I know this sounds dumb, but even if I had all the F U money in the world, the only lambo I'd ever let in my garage is a miura. That thing is heinous.

I remember thinking that the Reventon was way too over the top when it debuted. Now after having the Aventador around for a few years, it doesn't seem so outlandish.

      The dash, though.

      True.

What is hilarious is my dad owns property in Montana, yet he refuses to registers his cars there, since he majority lives in a different state. Its like dad... everyone does it.
