Question about the front bump stops

I bought a set of used H&R springs which I am going to install this Sunday. I notice all the other companies do not provide bump stops but H&R does. Are the H&R bump stops necessary? I didn't receive them when I got the car.

Have fun with a car that rides like ****. Bump stops will be the least of your problems.

U'll use the stock bump stops usually if the kit did not come with any.
Read over instructions, some kits recommend you cut a bit off of the stock bump stop. If no instructions, then you will not cut them.

Most spring setups tend to make the ride bouncier and unpredictable even with aftermarket dampeners...

Thank you sir! That is what I was going to do. Well good thing I got DCC so I can adjust the dampening. I am always on race mode

DCC and (most) Lowering Springs don't play nice together due to the car not being at the ride height specified. The car assumes you are riding around with 4 Uber fatties and 3 midgets in the trunk and the ride becomes correspondingly as bad. I encourage you to embrace the SUV level stock ride height but I respect your decision to do what makes you happy.

do the oem dampeners provide adequate dampening even if they have been dampened by moisture?

      fo future reference

I used stock bump stops and no issues. By the way the ride is excellent 10 to 15 percent stiffer

Make sure you get an alignment ASAP.
