Don't break the ad policy, this isn't for posting your items for sale, use the classifieds for that!
Share your found ads.

Please link an image or two, the ad, and the price(s) then copy and paste the description. We can build a little database of whats selling for how much and where even after the ads expire, and keep these posts organized.

1981 Rabbit Diesel ($1,000)
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/266782767993569/

From Facebook:
"81 vw rabbit with the diesel. has over 200,000 miles but still runs great. strut towers are solid and so is around windshield. only spots there are rust is on the floor board seems where they meet the inner rockers and the rockers themselves, and one small spot in the spare tire hole. needs a new left rear wheel cylinder that is in the extra parts bin. the injection pump Is a new remaned unit. 1 injector is alittle leaky. runs great come take a look at it. pretty firm on price. clean title."

"Race car" GTI showed up at a local Pick n Pull. I'm planning to go Saturday and see what cool parts might be on it still, unless one of you other Bay Area guys plan to go before me.

Anyone want anything? I'm almost certain the Snowflakes will be gone by the time I get there. Derrick, you might have a chance to snag them if you can make it tomorrow.

Thanks Gavin I don't need any more snowflakes! I could use the bumpers and grille if in good shape as my last needed stock items if anyone is going and they are still there.

Thanks for the update and good grab on the Neuspeeds:thumbup: We were going to go as well this morning but got hung up at the Tracy DMV for hours and I had to get back for work. Were the bumpers still there? If so I might try make a run out in the morning.

Thanks for confirming I did not make it today as I spent the morning making two more trips to the DMV (stupid emissions sticker missing and a smog test I was told 4x I didn't need:banghead:) to finalize the Mk7 Gti salvage rebuild. I'm headed to Sonoma on Sunday and will try and convince the wife we have to stop in American Canyon for a few minutes

Gave, thanks so much for texting me on-site and picking up the bumpers for me; you are a legend:thumbup::thumbup:! You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a buyer for the roll cage if you don't plan on running it yourself.

Relisted with a $2000 price drop. Here's a write-up on the car:

https://germancarsforsaleblog.com/1982-volkswagen-scirocco-3/

If I had a nickel for every time I got distracted by another VW...I think I want a Scirocco!

I bet if you could get it up to 88 miles per hour, you really could go back to the 1980s.

Relisted again. Another $2k price drop. I threw in a low ball offer just for fun.

It's Dubapalooza at the Rancho Cordova Pick'n'pull.

Within the same row there is:

'80 Miami Blue early Westy (1.6 CIS)
'83 Caddy with a topper (TD) and double-sliding rear glass (4-panel)
'87 Jetta coupe (8v CIS) with Koni top adjustables and a super rusty Neuspeed front strut bar
Unknown year Mk2 4-door Jetta

PLUS they have a '77 4-dr Rabbit BUILDER! (1.6 CIS) WITH a Sanden A/C conversion. No price yet.

Weird that a 77 has a smoothie hood

Clean strut towers

Clean scuttle panel

Battery tray? What battery tray?

“Only” 38k miles! 138k? 238k??

That's so cool! Among many interesting things on that someone loaded it up with "tech" and accessories. Love that Sparkomatic alarm, the wiper delay box, and added gauge panel! Early strut mounts would be awesome to have.

Pat, yes this is all at Rancho Cordova Pick n Pull. Do you want another topper? I met up with Rod yesterday, cool guy. You guys can text or PM me any orders and I can try to pull 'em over the weekend if they're still there. That includes you, Mokoosh.

I'm almost tempted to grab the Builder car just for parts, but that seems like a waste, and I'm sure they'll be wanting at least $1k.

The Caddy had some cool stuff too like a dashtop 3-gauge pod with altimeter and inclinometer.
