Don't break the ad policy, this isn't for posting your items for sale, use the classifieds for that!
Share your found ads.

Please link an image or two, the ad, and the price(s) then copy and paste the description. We can build a little database of whats selling for how much and where even after the ads expire, and keep these posts organized.

1984 mk1 vw jetta Wolfsburg edition classic - $2500 (Casper Wyoming)

This is an amazingly rare vehicle, its a classic jetta for Volkswagen lovers who want good fun, its reliable and tough like all vw, and its gas mileage is decent about 22 city, plus it gets around fast very good handling , my work done on it was replacing the fuel pump and rear brake cylinders, now I have to sell it sadly because I can't fix the clutch its to much for me, so I am willing to trade for an mk3 jetta , everything works except the clutch, hope someone loves this vehicle as much as I did
P.s. brand new sound system with pioneer deck, went through a lot of trouble to get it to sound great but its awesome

1979 Volkswagen rabbit diesel - $3000 (Dekalb)

"I am selling my pride and joy it's time to let someone else enjoy this beauty it has never done me wrong and has always taken me where I need to go.. This machine is really sharp it's hard to keep the ladies away from it. This 1979 Volkswagen diesel rabbit is in excellent shape for the year it has a upgraded 1.9 liter diesel crate motor that gives it more pep than the stock motor it has about 40k on the motor and about 100k on the body it has very little rust over the back left wheel well other than that it's in great shape. It has a 4 speed manual trans there are many new parts on the car like the radiator, heater core, alternator, windshield, windshield seal, fuse box, good tires interior is in really good shape..the best part of the car is the fuel mileage you will get (40 mpg)and all the thumbs up and waves I would drive this car any where in the USA and not be worried about it.."

Right by Chicago. I think I want this:

1982 VW Rabbit - $2000 (Bellwood,IL)
Classic1982 VW Rabbit, gas, 4-door, 82,000 miles. Body is in excellent shape, no rust, passage window cracked and windshield cracked. All original vinyl interior, paint, all original hub caps. I believe that brakes are locked up. Husband passed away. Car has been in garage for over 10 years. Many receipts for mechanics done. Tires were new but are now flat from sitting. Carpets need to be cleaned. This car's body is in pristine condition. Asking $2,000 or best offer.

1975 Volkswagen Rabbit Race Car

1975 Volkswagen Rabbit Race Car
This is a very rare first year Rabbit with a 1974 built date. The 1974 to 1976 rabbits are known as Swallowtail bodies due to the unique body lines that these years had. This car was bought in 1975 by Gray Wheeler owner of the Rabbit Hutch a VW water cooled performance shop that built SCCA Rabbit race cars. This was Gray's personal race car that was used to win numerous ICSCC races on the west coast from the mid 70's to the late 80's. The car was really fast and was able to run at the top of the ITB class full of Volvos and BMW's. This Rabbit is still set up the way the Rabbit Hutch built it.
Specs:
1.6L built to ICSCC specs, Webber downdraft carb, long tube headers, 5spd trans, Bilstein adjustable with H&R race springs, disc brakes, full SCCA cage, OMP race seat, push button start, 5 point harness and original Panda Sport wheels. The body is rust free and straight.
This Rabbit is ready to race, runs great and a blast to drive.

I don't know where these people are getting their prices but they're crazy :screwy:

$4800 firm
http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/4543127555.html

$5000 its clean but I would be hesitant to pay close to $5000 for a mk1 especially when the seller doesn't know much about his own car and it isn't running perfectly
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4557989736.html

appropriately priced mk1's

$2000 interior looks mint pics are to small to tell overall condition
