How to: I just got scammed!

Since we've tried to go down the positive/negative feedback road a zillion times and it has never worked, assume the following:

1. Everyone on here is a scammer and treat it like craigslist. If you're buying a part that you can't test until your mechanic inspects/installs it, PLAN AHEAD and negotiate a grace period for full refund. If the seller won't hear of it, you may have a good idea that the part might not be as described. Think ahead.
2. If someone is leaving a deposit to "come get the car later" - MAKE IT CLEAR whether that deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE or not. Solve the problem before it happens.
3. If you have a beef with another user, post a factual account in your appropriate regional area (east, ontario, west). Flamefests will simply be deleted so going overboard will do nothing.

We can never tell if events/parts as described are true, and the classifieds are not the place to post your outrage.

Happy buying/selling - caveat emptor.
