Here is an honest review of a purchase I made from the seller Crazyrock1985.
After months of negotiations we agreed I would buy his drivers side O2M axle for $120 shipped. Seller stated it was in good condition and the boots had no rips.
Arrived UPS a week later in good shape, was packaged well. When I took the axle out to install I noticed the outer boot was torn. I assumed maybe it was an honest mistake so I let the seller know. He replied the next day saying he must have missed the tear and to send the axle back for a full refund - his mistake. I suggested what I thought an idea that I thought was the best for the seller and myself as axles weigh a lot and are not hard to ship, plus a torn boot is a small problem. Still a pain for me to do the install and wait for parts but it seemed like the best option. The seller refunded me $19 for a rein outer boot kit. I should have shipped it back for the refund then (because I did not know what was going to happen) - my mistake.
A few weeks later I get tired of waiting on parts from ECS and install the axle to see if its any good. Turns out it is not. When I turn the wheel it clicks indicating a bad CV joint. I notified the seller and he refused to work with me on this issue. Remember the axle was sold in "good condition with no tears in the boot". Now the boot is torn and the axle is bad. Because the seller had refunded me for the boot he now REFUSES to offer me the rest of the refund for the junk axle he sold me, stating it had "been too long" and I "shouldve shipped it back before".
I now am stuck with a junk axle
Buyers beware
