I would buy them but can't pick them up in person. I would get them refinished (locally if possible) or trade them in for refinished ones.

If you are just going to take them to the recycling center, why not see if you can sell them to Wheel Collision Center or another one of the wheel refinishing places?

They have to get used wheels somewhere and Phaeton wheels are probably not rolling in every day

They don't have a button for buying wheels but you can try contacting them.

There are other wheel refinishing places who might buy your wheels. Here's just the first three that popped up in a search for wheel refinishers in the Bay Area:

I plan to buy or refinish enough "mint" Challenge wheels for both of my Phaetons.

I wasn't too impressed with the Challenge wheels at first but now I prefer them to most other wheels that will fit Phaetons.

It would be a shame if you just threw them out.

Short answer, I don't have the time right now to deal with shipping and shipping rims is rather expensive due to size and weight. If it would have been a perfect set I'd certainly make the effort but this is a set that needs refurbishment. I figured someone local could pick those up really cheap (in fact I'd probably let those go for free if I don't have to deal with it) and get them redone and still not spend a lot of money on it. I'll give it a week or so before I decide what to do with them.

I do have a near perfect one but it's still on the parts Phaeton. I'll let you know once I'm done with it, probably in the summer. Btw, I changed to the "Performance" wheels, have those on three of my Phaetons now, I really like the look of those over the Challenge ones and they are one of the few that are rated for the W12s.
