I would figure the G80 M3 will be shouting distance of both of these with X-drive. The "Pure" model (if it does come to Canada) will be less, maybe $78,000 (discount for manual and AWD.)
As for the front grille, here are some recent spy shots. It's not filling me with joy.

I think there are definitely ways to execute the old tall elongated kidneys, but from that spy shot it appears they took an audi sized grille and split it in half.
Lol. I love it. Finally they are going completely bonkers with the grille. I'm really looking forward to see just how absurdly large they will be able to take it. I like it when real life imitates art.
Unless it loses significant amount of weight and significant amount of that digital feeling I couldn't care less if it had 1000 hp.

Funny thing is the E65 grille looks conservative next to the new ones htought id never ssay that about an E65

There's a reason BMW decided to add 'M' moniker to 340i this time around. It's because upcoming M3 will surpass $100K sticker.

Beer: The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.
Love they are moving this to AWD with a rwd biased drift mode like the m5. Still coming around to the m3 design, though the m4 look great. Really hope they leave a manuel tranny option, and if they do i cant wait to see some manual swapped X3M's
That looks photoshopped. along with the side view mirrors.
F8x in competition guise was typically in the 75-80k range. I'd expect the vanilla one to be about there and the competition to be pushing 90. But you're right, with options, it will be easy to hit six digits.
That M4 GC rendering on the previous page has my attention... but I don't think that has been approved.
Here are sketches on how the grille may look according to insiders...
Who would've thought I'd be longing for the Bangle era designs.
Who is BMW's grill man? He needs to be stopped
I know that’s a render, but I’m really concerned it’s actually going to end up looking something pretty similar to that. BMW has gone overboard catering to the Chinese market and their hardon for gigantic grills.

Also, something that people don't think about is the Bangle era designs were different, dynamic, and interesting, but proportional. That's the big gripe I have with the new grills. They're not in proportion to ANYTHING else on the car.
Rolls Royce (ahem, BMW) can make a gigantic grill look good. These are just too much.
I love everything about this car except these persistent gigantic grille rumors. Please don't F it up BMW.
