Keep a minimum of 6 feet of separation at all times.

Everything is 1-way in the bath houses.

The rafts didn't go in this year because distancing would be impossible.

They initially weren't allowing anyone but the lifeguard on the pier. Now it's no stopping and talking to anyone including the lifeguards and don't touch anyone. They also eliminated guests unless they're staying at your house.

The town beach has the same rules. 6 foot separation for the queue to get to the restrooms and showers. 12 feet between groups on the beach. They chop off access when the beach is full and people can't maintain 12' of separation.
      Who enforces the rules?

Does everyone stick to the rules after a few cocktails in the evening?

A quote from Rand Paul at the Senate coronavirus hearing: "We shouldn't presume that a group of experts somehow knows what's best for everyone."

Well, medical experts (aka, doctors) have said eating fatty foods and sugary drinks are bad for your health, yet our landscape is dotted with fast food joints. The furthest distance once has to travel for a McDonald's in the ConUSA is 150mi (iirc).

Scientists and engineers have said that excessive speed will/can cause deadly accidents, yet they still build vehicles that can easily go triple digits.

Engineers and testers have said that ironing clothes while still wearing them can cause burns...

That's true. I guess just because experts can tell somebody what a good or prudent course of action would be doesn't mean that people will listen or heed their advice. Hence, Rand Paul.

And folks wonder why the `rona is climbing in many places the way it is. Who needs experts when many prefer Facebook memes?

We have an idiot gov'nor who has been saying "we'll look at the data and decide" but never gave a hard data point to when "reopening" would occur.

Looking at the data, the WA hospitalizations since the beginning of May have been between 20-30 people/day, down from a high of 80-90 people/day. It's been relatively flat for two months.

Why aren't the number of hospitalizations going down after two months? I'm guessing that at the beginning, no one was admitted to hospitals if you were sick. They wouldn't let people come into the hospitals/clinics/urgent care/ER if you had flu symptoms. You were told to go and stay home.

Now, with exposure rates being very low, the hospitals are now admitting people that they weren't admitting at the beginning, to stave off being overly crowded.

Deaths, since early May, have leveled out to less than 10 people a day. There's horrific standards of reporting here; you can obviously see where the weekends are. If you trust the data 100%, then no one dies on the weekend and very few get sick on the weekend.

Americans hate EVs because they grew up with Power Wheels that were glacially slow, ran out of power in 20 minutes and took an entire day to recharge.

"Masks are a double-edged sword," the president*told The Wall Street Journal*in a recent interview. "People touch them. And they grab them and I see it all the time. They come in, they take the mask. Now they're holding it now in their fingers. And they drop it on the desk and then they touch their eye and they touch their nose."
"Name one thing any other person could have done better in this situation?" Pretty sure Bave said that verbatim.

I'm sure the could pipe in the sound of the fans at home who are watching by listening in on their phone's microphone. Like FB/IG does.

The "other segment" isn't behaving the same as what's often disparaged as "flyover country." They just aren't. Even here where it's not uncommon to see Confederate flags on a clapped-out truck, almost everyone is observing mask-wearing protocol. Yes, even in WalMart. Hit a big milestone in MA = Zero daily deaths today (6/30)

The last 3 weeks almost 80% of all deaths were from assisted living facilities. Just hope the down trend (of non-ALF deaths) continues.

Rolling 7 day average of positive test is only 1.7%
Antibody testing results are mixed, about 7-9% of these tests are positive but increasing.

Have to track closely as we just opened up indoor dining, malls and stores.
