I have a 1.6NA head that came off a parts car in Spokane, $250. The usual sad story. The shop installed a new head but the bottom end was worn out so it died shortly thereafter, according to the guy I bought the car from who made me pay extra for the new head. I had it scrubbed and flatness checked by the local diesel shop. I will be driving south through Boise to New Mexico end of September, will deliver to anywhere along my route.
Don't you think it would be beneficial for you to put some effort into this and state:
1) is this an early crappo 11 mm head bolt head or a 12 mm head?
2) is this a solid-lifter or later hyd. lifter head?
This is baseline info to anyone with even the most remote interest.
