      Hey Barry:

It's hard to do a one-size-fits-all instruction list, but I will give it a shot:

      1) Make sure that your computer has a webcam attached to it. All modern laptops come with a webcam built-in.

      2) Click the link in the invitation e-mail (do this well in advance of the meeting if you've never set up Zoom before).

      3) If you've never set up Zoom, you may have to follow some on-screen instructions to install Zoom.

      4) Once installed, you will click on the link again, and it will ask you if you want to use your computer's video and audio. Click yes to both.

      5) If it asks you for a password/passcode, the password is "IB4TL."

      6) Then you will be in a waiting room until I let everyone in at 1pm (PST).

Also, there are phone numbers listed on the invitation that I sent. If you can't get the zoom feed to work, you can call any of those numbers with a phone and be joined in (audio-only) to the meeting.

      Look forward to seeing everyone.

ALSO -- if possible, change your display name on Zoom to your TCL username. Also, Turd Ferguson will be acceptable.

Here--just load this image onto your screen:

Now stare at it for 90 minutes, while randomly mumbling about cars all the while. That's the experience.

(Well, maybe except when my big block fired up.)

I was happy to see so many of us sitting in our garages with our cars in the background. I was actually sitting in my driveway, with my laptop on a TV tray. With it being sunny and in the low 80s, I was bummed about not having any shade... so I parked my Suburban across the driveway and used its hatch as a makeshift pop-up canopy:

      11/10, would Zoom again.

Sorry to pop off early. I had fun. Totally down for the next one.

Cold start videos should be uploaded to YouTube and done via screen share. My roommate was like “why the hell did you fire up your car twice?”

Also can we get a big round of applause? Over 30 dicks in attendance and not a single dick pic.

Quite enjoyable, thanks to all, and especially to SFV for putting it together and facilitating it. Great to put some faces and names together.

Sunday is normally "No Pants Day" around here, but I could go to the shop and peel back some car covers. It's slumber time early this year. I'd fire up my Mark II, but you wouldn't hear it.

Atomic Alex, we live so close and yet........
