Trigger and Chicago in the same sentence. Geez, I used "sentence" too. This is getting bad.

      Not bad.Obama.

This thing eats up highway miles. I do not feel too exhausted (other than limited sleep last night) and none of my parts hurt. When you put the car into comfort mode, it is a completely different machine. Quiet, comfortable (heh) and smooth as silk.

As I know at least one of you care as much as I do, the integrate toll module is fantastic, especially for everything east of the South Side of Chicago. I am glad that I put an extra 100 dollars on it yesterday as I am sure it was over 30 dollars for us today. But to be expected when headed East.

Saw tons of cops on the Indiana Toll road, and tons of construction (by which I mean construction zones as literally zero work was being completed) throughout Ohio, but no issues with John Q Law.

Off to meet with Cale DeRoo for dinner and then off to the Rally tomorrow. Should be a great weekend.

Somehow in 12 days I have already put 1300 miles on this thing

You sitting in the car appears to be squeezing 1.5psi out of those corners.

Are you spending more time on the east coast after the rally or heading back home?

Honestly, it is, at least was, my most important read out in the R8. I almost lost it on an on ramp in cool ambient temps and cold tires. I needed new undies but not a new R8. From that day forward, It stays on. Obviously not as important with Quattro, but nonetheless, this thing likes to wiggle at WOT, especially with cold tires.

Which, now being over 1000 miles, I get to experience whenever I want to

Oh the tire temp is cool. I just extrapolate in the Evora when the PSI’s run up. Would be really handy to have the full picture.

Go WOT a bunch for me now that you can!

Pro-Tip: Most TPMS sensors have the capability to show temperature. Since 2005, any TPMS equipped Honda has the data, but chooses not to show the customer. It is accessible using the scan-tool or handheld TPMS scanner.

Nicely done. Back in early 2007 I picked up my new Golf City (significantly less cool) from the dealer on a Monday. That Friday me and 3 friends embarked on a 1600km round trip road trip. And based on our weights at the time, we likely had about a 1/2 ton of dude in the car.

Cars are made to be driven.
